This Friday was the 4th and last stage of the Limousin Tour between Saint Hilaire Bonneval et Limoges, and in the aftermath of the magnificent victory of Paul Lapeira (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale Team) Thursday, we had a great show! After a superb battle between the breakaway of the day and the peloton in the last kilometers, it is the peloton which finally played the victory, and the Italian Andrea Vendrame (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale Team) took the opportunity to win the sprint in front of his teammate Paul Lapeira and French Hugo Page (Intermarché-Wanty). Ewen costiou (Arkea-B & B Hotels) keeps his yellow jersey and thus wins this Limousin 2025 Tour.

The summary of the race:
This fourth and last valid stage of Limousin Tour promised to give some cold sweats to Ewen costiounew carrier of the yellow jersey and who was only a stage to win his first stage race. From the start, six runners escaped: the French Simply iSidore (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale), Nicolas Debeaumarché (COFIDIS) Alexy Faure Prost (Intermarché-Wanty), Quentin Bezza (Wagner Bazin WB) and Nicolas Breuillard (St Michel – Preference Home – Auber93), were joined by Switzerland Alexandre Balmer (Solution Tech – Vini Fantini).
In the last kilometers, the four survivors of the breakaway had another twenty seconds in advance despite the work of the training ARKEA-B&B HOTELS pour Ewen costiou. After a nice fight to the red flame, the peloton finally took over the leading men and the stage was able to play between the strongest peloton. In power, Italian Andrea Vendrame (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale Team) has largely imposed itself, in front of his teammate Paul Lapeiraalready winner the day before, and another Frenchman, Hugo Page (Intermarché-Wanty). For his part, Ewen costiou perfectly managed this last step and therefore won the Limousin Toursucceeding Alex Baudin, winner of the 2024 edition.
