The 92nd edition of GP of ants / La Voix du Nord was held this Sunday, and despite a good performance of the escape which held up to the last kilometers, it was as planned in the sprint that the victory played. Perfectly placed in the last hectometers, French Paul Magnier (Sudal Quick-Step) largely dominated the final sprint, winning in the end in front of the Czech Pavel Bittner (Team picnic postnl) and kazakh Yevgeniy Fedorov (XDS Astana Team). Magnier Thus succeeds the list of the Dutchman Arvid de Kleijn (Tudor Pro Cycling Team), winner in 2024 and only 7th this Sunday, and confirms his beautiful form of the moment, two weeks after his 4th place on the Bretagne Classic.

The Summary of the GP of Fourmies 2025:
After the real departure given in Fourmies in the early afternoon, it was not until about thirty kilometers before a breakaway of five runners formed: with four French, Léandre Huck (COFIDIS) BAPTIST PEOPLE PROTECTS (Lotto), Célestin Guillon (Of rice-roubaix) et Antoine Hue (CIC U Nantes), and the Dutchman Mike Teunissen (XDS Astana Team). Never more than three minutes ahead of the peloton, the leading group seemed to have little chance of going to the end, but that was without counting on their superb resilience.
With another minute ahead 30 kilometers from the finish, the breakaway embarked on a real time trial against the peloton and the training of the favorites. If Célestin Guillon et Antoine Hue dropped off 20 kilometers from the finish, the three survivors still had 25 seconds in advance as the last 10 kilometers approached. Despite superb resistance and a last final attempt to Mike Teunissenthe breakaway was resumed in the last kilometers and the sprinter teams were able to prepare the final sprint. Much higher than its rivals, French Paul Magnier logically imposed itself, before Pavel Bittner et Yevgeniy Fedorov.
