Mason Greenwood resumed training in Marseille and found Angel Gomes, a new recruit, to prepare for the Ligue 1 season.
Marseille published a photo of Greenwood back in training for the 2025/26 season. He found Angel Gomes, a new recruit, as well as the former striker from Brighton, Neal Maupay, to try to improve the second place of last season.
Greenwood scored 21 league goals last season, while Marseille finished second, but he will aim for a better result with the team of Roberto de Zerbi. The club has finally finished 19 points from PSG and will have to find a way to fill this gap if it wants to win its first title since 2010.

Greenwood will continue to work with the non-international group in Marseille when preparing pre-season before the international returns next week. De Zerbi is expected to resume training next Tuesday.
Marseille will face Girona on July 26, then Valence three days later. They will also face Seville and Aston Villa in pre-season before the start of the Ligue 1 season in mid-August.
