Cédrine Kerbaol flies over the time trial and offers the title of French champion of the specialty

Not the shadow of a doubt. The Breton Cédrine Kerbaol quickly flew over the debates, Thursday, June 26, during the time trial of the French championship in the Herbiers (Vendée) to offer itself its second national coronation, after that of 2023. The EF Education-Oatly runner preceded Juliette Labous (FDJ-Suez, +36 “) and Marion Borras (Cofidis, +1'07”).

Last to leave the launching ramp, the vice-champion of France in title of the financial year dug the gap as of the first intermediary (7th kilometer), then relegating to 18 seconds the amateur Solène Muller who has long owned the best times of the race. Part more cautiously, Juliette Labous, fourth of the Paris Games on the exercise and sacred in 2020, returned strongly in the mid-race of a 26.5 km long circuit. But Cédrine Kerbaol managed to maintain his gap and even accentuate it on the last part of the layout.
