Bradley Barcola places PSG in a delicate situation that no one had anticipated this summer.

The alarm rings at the Loges camp. Bradley Barcola now crystallizes all Parisian fears and places PSG in a completely unexpected situation. While Luis Enrique thought he could count on his French winger for the new season, an unforeseen scenario turns upside all the Parisian plans. A turmoil that puts the leaders in the most total embarrassment.

Liverpool at the assault of Barcola

The threat has a name: Liverpool.
The Reds no longer end with their Mad Mercato and are now eyeing Barcola
To expand their attack already reinforced by Wirtz (€ 125 million), Ekitike (€ 90 million), Kerkez (€ 47 million) and Frimmong (€ 40M). After the failure of the Isak file, refused by Newcastle despite a pharaonic offer between 120 and 138 million euros, the Champions of England fell back on the French international.

This timing is particularly bad for Paris. Barcola was the most used element last season during the historic triplet, before giving grounds to Désiré Doué at the end of the fiscal year. Now fourth in the offensive hierarchy behind Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia and Goué, the Villeurbannais could be tempted by Anfield where Liverpool has been following him for a long time and could take advantage of this “loyalty” to convince him.

A departure that would surprise

Seeing Barcola leave Paris would however be a sacred surprise, especially a year from the World Cup. The player would take a hell of a bet by joining Liverpool when he has a certain comfort in PSG and an important status. Admittedly, he would not be the first to note such a challenge in such a pivotal period, but the decision would appear quite surprising in his specific case.

PSG is logically little seller for a player bought 50 million in Lyon two years ago. Parisian leaders would claim at least 100 million to let go of their winger, aware of losing a key element in the face of a direct competitor in the Champions League. A negotiation which promises to be bitter between two European cadors which are not used to giving in easily.
