This Sunday, June 15, the French U20 team faced Saudi Arabia in Salon-de-Provence in the final of the Maurice Revello tournament. Bernard Diomède's blueberries found an opponent whom they had already beaten in the group phase, on June 3 in Fos-sur-Mer (2-1), thanks to a penalty by Steve Ngoura and a goal from Elyaz Zidane. Led in the 22nd minute, they knew how to overthrow the match. This final looked like revenge, with a first coronation online for the blueberries since 2022.
France quickly took control of the match. From the 2nd minute, the Nantes Assoumani opened the scoring (1-0), before Ngoura doubled the set to the break (44th, 2-0) in favor of the Habs. The player then dug the gap (59th, 3-0). The Saudis reduced the gap at the very end of the match (90th+3, 3-1). Thanks to this large and pretty victory, France therefore won the Maurice Revello tournament.
