Following a full season, Bayern Munich wishes to reward the French international and, at the same time, secure its future.

At the end of a 2024-25 exercise conclusive with Bayern Munich, Michael Olise asserts himself as one of the major elements of the Bavarian team. The French striker, who arrived in southern Germany from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, contributed to the return of the club to the throne of the Bundesliga, while gaining visibility on the international scene.

Satisfied with its performance, the rekordmeister would consider a salary increase for the player, according to Bild. This initiative is part of the German champion's desire to convince Londoner to engage in the long term in Bayern.

Bayern fears competition

By offering a better salary at number 17, Bavarian leaders would also seek to rule out competition, which closely follows the young right winger. In recent weeks, he has notably been associated with clubs like Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain or Liverpool, which, according to rumors, would think of succeeding Mohamed Salah.

Currently, Olise has a current contract until June 2029. An extension would thus allow Bayern to keep their hands on this file in the event of an offensive of other European cadors.
