According to the same source, Simeone has set his sights on Noni Maduke and Nicolas Jackson.. The two players, in difficulty in recent weeks, would see their future in London seriously questioned.
Despite an honorable assessment of 30 goals and 12 assists in 80 appearances, Jackson received two exclusions in his last four games and no longer seems to be one of the holders in the eyes of Maresca. Liam Delap shone during the Club World Cup and now seems to be ahead of it in the offensive hierarchy, while the arrival of Joao Pedro further accentuates competition.
As for Madueke, it would be considered transferable provided that a satisfactory offer reaches the table. Arsenal would also follow the evolution of the situation closely. Aston Villa would also be interested in Jackson, his coach Unai Emery knowing him well for having led him to Villarreal.

How Simeone plans to integrate the two players?
On the Madrid side, Jackson would be perceived as An alternative to Alexander Sorho in attack. Atlético wishes to recruit An offensive reinforcement to accompany Julian Alvarezindisputable at the forefront of the attack.
Madueke's case is more uncertain. With a rigid 4-4-2 tactical scheme oriented towards defensive withdrawal, it is difficult to know if the English winger could adapt to the demanding style of Simeone, especially in a more remote role than that to which he is used to.
Atlético would hope to finalize a double transfer for an amount of € 50 million for Jackson and € 30 million for Madueke. If Chelsea could be receptive to an offer of this level for Jackson, the Londoners should be more greedy for Madueke, recruited in the winter of 2023 for almost € 35 million.
