FC Nantes has still had a complicated season, as too often in recent seasons. The Loire-Atlantique club therefore decided to act this summer, thanking Antoine Kombouaré. To replace the former club defender, the Canaries' leaders appointed Luis Castro, who shone on the bench in Dunkirk, in Ligue 2.

The Nantes must strengthen their workforce during the summer transfer window. Several players are already targeted by the club's recruitment unit chaired by Waldemar Kita, including Louis Mouton, AS Saint-Etienne midfielder, a recently relegated club in Ligue 2. They will indeed lose several players.

Moses Simon would be targeted by clubs from the German championship and by Paris FC, while Matthis Abline, a young Nantes striker, appeals to many teams, including Olympique de Marseille.

An attacker will not return to Nantes

These two departures could push FC Nantes to strengthen on the offensive level. However, Ouest-France revealed that a player loaned abroad was not going to return to the club in the offseason. Ignatius Ganago, a center-forward loans in MLS, in New England Revolution, has played 15 games since his arrival in North America.

Since he has played more than 50% of his club's meetings, the former RC Lens scorer will see his loan extended until at least December 31. The 26 -year -old Cameroonian international will therefore not be able to become the next serial scorer of the Beaujoire, who will undoubtedly live beautiful emotions next season.
