Real Madrid seeks to recruit a new midfielder next summer, but it should face strong competition for one of its objectives.
And it turns out that it could be its rival, FC Barcelona.
During the 2025 summer transfer window, Real Madrid planned to recruit Angelo Stiller, considered a good replacement for Toni Kroos, but the decision has not yet been taken by club leaders. Xabi Alonso is a big fan of the Stuttgart midfielder and could carry out a campaign in 2026.

Real Madrid could try to recruit Stiller
And according to Christian Falk, Real Madrid could try to recruit Stiller if he has had an impressive new season in Stuttgart, especially since it would be available for only 37.5 million euros. However, it seems that Barcelona could also try to recruit the 24 -year -old.
Another target (from Bayern) for the future could be Angelo Stiller, VFB Stuttgart, if he continues his ascent in Germany and with the German national team. It will be on the market for 37.5 million euros, which is not an exorbitant price. However, if it is done as well, we can almost guarantee that clubs like Real Madrid, Arsenal, Barcelona and other large clubs will appear to him. The situation does not improve for Bayern Munich.
Does Barcelona need Angelo Stiller?
Next summer, the transfer window promises to be crucial for Barcelona, who will have to recruit a new left central defender and an attacker to replace Inigo Martinez (already left) and Robert Lewandowski (who will most certainly leave at the end of the season). A defensive midfielder could also be sought in case of departure from Frenkie de Jong or Marc Casado.
However, there would certainly not be enough funds available to sign a central defender, a midfielder and an attacker next summer, so the chances that Barcelona opts to Stiller are incredibly thin.
