The popular impact of the Tour de France does not weaken. 10 to 12 million spectators on the side of the roads at each edition, 190 countries which relate the event for three weeks and millions of euros in repercussions for the city cities.

With the large loop and the arrival of thousands of French or foreign tourists, dozens of departments take advantage. In a village east of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), the passage of the peloton allowed a resurrection, that of the reopening of a trade specially for the occasion. The Tour de France would have a positive and incomparable economic impact.
