This Thursday, July 17 was a very complicated first mountain stage for the runners of this 112nd edition of Tour de France. Between heat and speed, some leaders have been distant fairly quickly. On arrival, it's almost as always the world champion, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), who won, winning his 102nd professional victory and ahead of his rival Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) et l’Allemand Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe). Present in the huge breakaway of the day made up of more than 50 runners, Julian Alaphilippe (Tudor Pro Cycling Team) rolled up for its leader Michael Storer (Tudor Pro Cycling Team), also present in the breakaway. The former double world champion tells us, to our microphone Cyclism’Actuhis stage and the rest of his Tour de France.

“I went up with Mathieu Van der Poel behind the Gruppetto …”

“It was a quick day, a bit like since the start of the round. Personally, I gave the maximum. We really wanted to be in the breakaway today with Michael Storer, and in addition to that, there was Matteo (Trentin), Marc (Hirschi) and me, so it was perfect. After, here we never have taken too long and … After I don't know what happened. Hauteacam, I don't have to be good. Encouraged.concludes Julian Alaphilippeto our microphone Cyclism’Actu.
