UEFA has taken severe measures against the matches in conference League 2023/24. The European Football Federation inflicted a ten -year suspension at the Montenegrin Club of FK Arsenal Tivat, with a fine of € 500,000. UEFA was particularly focused on the victory (6-1) of Alashkert (Armenia) on Arsenal Tivat (Montenegro) during the return match of the first conference round of the Conference League, which allowed the Armenians to qualify for the next round with a cumulative score of (7-2) after a draw (1-1) in the first leg.

«Following an investigation and disciplinary procedure against the FK Arsenal Tivat and other people in connection with alleged violations of the UEFA disciplinary regulations (RD) during the UEFA Conference League 2023/24 matches between Alashkert FC and the FK Arsenal Tivat in July 2023, the UEFA, Ethics and disciplin commission (CEDB) announced the following decisions:
