The 2024/2025 season of Yacine Adli will have been that of a revival of momentum, without allowing the midfield to win sustainably in the plans of AC Milan. Loaned to Fiorentina last summer, the former PSG and Bordeaux player was able to make himself useful in the Florentine rotation, with around thirty appearances all competitions (35 games, 5 goals). Used in various positions in the middle by Raffaele Palladino, Adli has demonstrated its ability to dictate the tempo in a possession game, while displaying better tactical rigor. However, his irregularity in physical impact and defensive intensity limited his role to that of a complementary player.
Back in Milan this summer, Adli was having the hope of finally being able to convince the new technical staff, but the arrival of Massimiliano Allegri showed his ambitions. The Italian technician, a follower of a more rigorous and direct game, does not seem to count on the Franco-Algerian for the coming season. It is in this delicate context, marked by a return without real perspective and a contract which runs until 2026, that the future of Adli is now written far from San Siro. According to our information, AC Milan is in close collaboration with the player and his entourage to quickly find an amicable fall point.
The Gulf countries very active but …
Yacine Adli lives a pivotal summer. Paying back to Milano Futuro, the AC Milan reserve team where Marko Lazetic, Divock Origi, Ismaël Bennacer and Vasquez quote, is also found, for the resumption of training, the Franco-Algerian midfielder was clearly dismissed by Massimiliano Allegri, the new coach of the Rossoneri. The former Bordeaux does not appear in the Italian plans and will not be summoned for the summer internship with the professional group. A strong decision when he only has a year of contract left until June 2026, and which pushed Milanese leaders to quickly find a way out.
According to our information, the Spartak Moscow has been the most concrete by installing steps to recruit Adli, but the latter firmly declined any option leading to Russia. In Serie A, his profile continues to attract: Bologna and the Torino have checked his name, without any discussion having yet been started. In parallel, more lucrative interests emerge from the Gulf, where several clubs in Saudi Arabia and Qatar have already positioned themselves. At 24, Adli keeps hands on its future, but time is running out: Milan wishes to accelerate its degreasing and hopes for a rapid outcome in this file.
