The subject of an investigation by the Spanish government after being attacked by the Association of Persons with Achondroplasia and other skeletal dysplasia with Nanism (ADEE) following the birthday party of his 18th birthday where he hired people with nanism, Lamine Yamal is entangled in a scandal. The Spanish winger of FC Barcelona is thus exposed to a heavy potential fine of 600,000 to 1,000,000 euros.
One of the artists he hired, however, wanted to defend him at the microphone of RAC1 : «We ask to be able to work. We are independent and we do everything legally. What they do by complaining is humiliating our work. The association wants to humiliate us. We have made magic shows, we are artists who make our money honestly.»
