Marseille could offer him a two -year contract

Aubameyang left Marseille to join Al-Qadsiah last summer, but his stay in the Middle East only lasted. Despite its 17 impressive goals during its first season, the Saudi club decided to let the player go in order to focus on the acquisition of young talents for his attack.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the French club had preliminary discussions with the veteran striker earlier this week and is currently negotiating the financial aspects of the two -year contract which he is about to offer Gabonese international. Al-Qadsiah has already given the green light to release the player this summer.

Marseille about to sign Aubameyang

The Marseille coach, Roberto de Zerbi, would be favorable to the arrival of the former star of Arsenal and Chelsea in his offensive ranks. The Italian tactician would appreciate the rich experience and the striker's striker, especially in a team that is currently based strongly on young attackers.

It remains to be seen whether the 36-year-old striker will accept the conditions of Marseille and will join Mason Greenwood in the club's attack before the 2025-26 season. The temptation to play again in the Champions League could be a decisive factor for the attacker.
