FC Barcelona is preparing to carry out a financially advantageous operation with the departure of Pablo Torre to the RCD Mallorca. Arrived in 2022 from Racing Santander for a fixed amount of 5 million euros, the midfielder has never managed to win in the eleven of Hansi Flick. Three years later, its transfer nevertheless enabled Blaugranas to recover their bet, while avoiding the payment of many variables provided for in the initial agreement. According to the media Sportout of the 14 million euros in potential bonuses, only one million has been spent, since Torre only reached 10 games more than 45 minutes played with the first team, far from the required threshold to trigger other premiums.
By giving in Pablo Torre to Mallorca, Barça therefore saves no less than an additional € 13 million. Added to this is another gain: the Catalan club will not have to pay the bonus of one million euros planned in the event of the player's selection with the national team has, a hypothesis that has become lapsed given its low playing time at Barça, despite a good visit to La Rojita.
