Stefano Pioli is back in the country. Leaving AC Milan last summer to join Al-Nassr, the Italian technician will only stayed only in the Gulf. Barely a month after the announcement of his departure, Pioli has just been inducted a new Fiorentina coach. A club he knows well since he was the coach between 2017 and 2019, before being champion of Italy with AC Milan in 2022.
“The ACF Fiorentina announces that the new coach of the Viola first team is Stefano Pioli. Pioli, who returns to Florence after wearing the purple jersey as a player between 1989 and 1995, and managed the club as a trainer from 2017 to 2019, signed a contract which will link it to the club until June 20, 2028 “said the Viola press release, which also recorded the arrival of Edin Dzeko this week.
