Slovenian matted competition in the rise of Mûr-de-Bretagne on Friday, winning in front of Jonas Vingegaard.

The breakaway fought and ended up believing it, but the favorites competed for the stage victory in Mûr-de-Bretagne, Friday, July 11. In this little game, Tadej Pogacar (UAE) was once again the strongest. Without the yellow jersey Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck), released in the last ascent, he set Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease A Bike) to win the 7th stage and sign his second success of this edition.

He recovers the yellow jersey, and is again at the top of the ranking by points, that of the green jersey. As for other rankings, his teammate Tim Wellens (UAE) keeps his polka dot jersey, and Remco Evenepoel (Sudal Quick-Step) is always the wearer of the white jersey. These runners are not the only ones to be mounted on the podium on Friday, since the Breton Ewen Costiou (Arkéa-B & B Hotels) was elected the most combative runner of the stage, which was not resumed 12 kilometers from the finish.
