Hold in Ligue 2, the legendary Red Star club, based in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, unveiled its new jerseys at the start of the week. A green always iconic for home meetings and a white inspired by concrete for outside matches: “The Red Star FC unveils, alongside Kappa, its new collection of jerseys for the 2025/2026 season. At the dawn of this new Ligue 2 BKT season, the Red Star FC and Kappa raise the veil on two jerseys imagined by Tom Ducarouge, a designer recognized for his sensitive approach to materials and shapes. This collaboration was born from a shared conviction: if the Red Star FC was a material, it would be concrete. A vibrant concrete, forged by time and people, who was able to crack, but which always remains standing.»
The continuation of the press release specifies: “It is that of the foundations of Bauer, its historic stands where the generations have followed one another and the buildings which surround the club. Above all, concrete is the framework of the red star: a raw material, a club rooted in Seine-Saint-Denis, on which are 128 years of history. It symbolizes the flawless loyalty of its supporters, the resilience of a club in the face of the tests and the deep attachment to its territory. But also the collective force which links the second oldest French club in French football, its players, its supporters and its territory for more than a century. By integrating it into the jerseys, the Red Star FC is writing its history in the material, to better carry it on each lawn this season. The striped concrete jersey takes over the iconic green and white stripes from the club, enriched with a motif made with a fragment of concrete from the old western tribune of Bauer. With a polo collar, the white concrete jersey highlights this raw material in a sleek and elegant version»
