Switzerland relaunched itself in its euro at home by winning 2-0 against Iceland this Sunday, on the second day of group A. In a long closed and little intense match in the first period, the Swiss ended up making the difference at the end of the game. Reutele released the situation in the 77th minute, before Pilgrim seals the victory in the last minutes (89th). A solid and controlled performance, which relaunches the hopes of qualifying the Helvetians after their initial defeat against Norway.
In the standings, Norway keeps the group's head with six points after two successes in two matches. Switzerland returns to Finland with three points, but takes the advantage unlike goals. Iceland, for its part, continues a second setback and sees its chances of qualifying for the quarter -finals strongly fall. The last day promises to be decisive, especially for the two qualifying places towards the direct elimination phase.
