Despite its catastrophic situation, Bordeaux can count on its history to continue to remain an attractive club. Indeed, still stuck in National 2, the Girondins have signed a contract with a new equipment supplier, and not just any since it was the Hummel brand that accepted a partnership with the legendary French club to take over from Adidas. According to Girondins webthe Danish brand will be much more flexible with Bordeaux on certain choices of jerseys. The partnership should be over a long time, but no date has been communicated.
The new Girondins de Bordeaux equipment supplier is expected to release two jerseys: a home and an exterior. The first two designs will be published by August, just before the official resumption. Despite its national 2 team status, Bordeaux will win a lot of money with this deal. For this first year of partnership, Hummel will pay € 500,000 to the Girondins de Bordeaux. A sum that will climb to € 800,000 per season in the event of a climb in national, and exceed the million euros if the club finds Ligue 2.
