Juventus seeks to resolve a thorny file, with the expensive contract, whose disappointing performances push the Italian club to envisage a separation.
Juventus Turin intends to clarify the future of Dušan Vlahović. The Serbian striker, still linked to the Bianconero club until June 2026, received an annual salary of 12 million euros. Remuneration deemed too high with regard to performance below the expectations of the Turin club.
In this context, Tuttosport reveals that Damien Comolli, new Piedmontese managing director since May, wishes to act the departure of the former Fiorentina player. Internally, the French leader would conduct discussions around an amicable termination of the 25 -year -old striker's contract. The objective is to lighten the payroll in order to facilitate the arrival of Jonathan David, an offensive priority of the moment.
Two major brakes
While the World Cup is approaching, Vlahović does not want to leave Turin without the guarantee of bouncing in a club which would allow it to keep its place with the Eagles next summer. For the moment, no club seems to have expressed a concrete interest in the former member of La Fiorentina.
Another obstacle could curb the Turin plans, the rejection of the native of Belgrade to make a cross on his current emoluments. A firm position that could well complicate Juventus maneuvers during this summer transfer window.
