3320 kilometers! The 184 runners of the Tour de France who set off, Saturday July 5 from Lille, will all try to join Paris for the final arrival scheduled three weeks later. In the meantime, they will have to overcome the very many obstacles that will stand on their way. After having passed the first northern stages (without the cobblestones), the peloton will take the direction of Normandy, Brittany and briefly in Auvergne with an arrival at the top at Mont-Dore.

The runners will tackle the mountain in the second half, with three stages in the Pyrenees, including a time trial in the coast, the arrival of which will be tried at the top of the Altiport de Peyragudes (13th stage). Before finding the narrow streets of the Butte Montmartre, a year after the legendary online race of the 2024 Paris Games, the last part of the 2025 edition will be marked by a particularly arduous alpigian triptych with arrivals at the top of Mont Ventoux, the Col de la Loze and La Plagne. For the first time since 2020, no other country that France will be visited.
