Juventus would be close to recruiting Jonathan David, free player, after leaving Lille.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Juventus is close to finding an agreement with the Canadian international after having submitted a new offer to him. He adds that the negotiations are underway, the Serie team hoping to get the final green light quickly.

David was cited in Manchester United, Tottenham, among others, but it seems that the 25 -year -old could rather join the Italian giants. The Canadian has been prolific in club and selection, and he could now get closer to the most important transfer of his career.

Jonathan David towards Juve

David, who carried out tests at FC Salzburg and Stuttgart, but was refused by the two clubs, joined Lille from the Gantoise in 2020 and scored 109 goals in 232 games for the French team. In his last three seasons, he has scored 25 or more goals with each campaign.

Very coveted David

If David, who scored 36 goals in 67 selections for his country, finalizes this transfer to the old lady, he could be part of their pre-season campaign before the 2025/26 season.
