The DNCG had excluded the BPFC from national competitions during the hearing in June. The Périgourdin club announced this Tuesday, July 1, that it will not appeal the decision, not being able to bring together the sum of € 300,000 (financial tower) within the time limit. Only half of this sum was collected.
In a press release, the BPFC explains the situation, and hopes to leave the best in Regional 1 in order to save its football school and its regional male and female teams.
It will be the first time that the Dordogne has not been a team in the French national championship since 2007. Trélissac has been relegated from National 3 to the regional 1 after last season.
