The final of this Dauphiné Critérium is taking shape. Tadej Pogacar had taken a good option on Friday June 13 by winning the 6th solo stage in front of his rival Jonas Vingegaard, he took a new on Saturday June 14, between Grand-Aigueblanche (Savoie) and Valmeinier 1,800 (Savoie), after more than 5,000 meters of elevation and three ascents out of category.
This time, Tadej Pogacar made the difference 12 km from the finish, in the final ascent to Valmeinier. Only one attack was enough for him to distance Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease A Bike), who hung on to finish second at 17 seconds. Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora Hansgrohe) completes the podium of the day.
