Brentford is interested in the striker of Lorient Sambou Soumano, also courted by two other English clubs.

Arrived in Lorient in 2021the Senegalese Sambou Soumano chained the loans to Eupen and Rodez during the 2022-23 season, before being sent to Quevilly-Rouen in 2023-24.

Back in Lorient last summer, he scored 14 goals in 32 Ligue 2 games, contributing to the climb of the club in Ligue 1.

His performances have obviously caught the eye of several English clubs, including Brentford.
