Eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Europa League after a crazy scenario against Manchester United, the Gones could not raise their heads and finish their championship season well. They finally finished sixth in Ligue 1, thus qualifying for the Europa League. The Lyonnais have not played the Champions League for over five years.
In June, next season's jerseys are starting to leak via different media. That of OL is no exception to the rule, and was revealed by FootyHeadlines. It is mainly composed of white, separated in the middle by two blue and red strips, emblematic colors of the Gones. Lyon supporters are not all convinced on social networks, finding it too similar to those of recent years.

If OL fans have not necessarily welcomed this new home tunic, it is especially because the current situation of the club is a real disaster. Because of John Textor's financial management, club president, the Gones could meet in Ligue 2 next season, if their call is not heard by the DNCG.
