Giroud helped the Lafc to win his first title in US Open Cup in 2024, marking during the league match, allowing him to win his first trophy in the competition.

During his career, Giroud has evolved in Italy, France and England, with passages in Montpellier, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan. The Frenchman won 11 major trophies and scored nearly 300 goals, playing more than 700 club matches.
A return to France is mentioned, in particular by Lille, club of Ligue 1, which would be interested in its services. He would have signed a one -year contract with the club.

Giroud is the French top scorer in history with 57 goals. With his LAFC Hugo Lloris teammate, Giroud helped France win the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA 2021 nations trophy, while reaching the 2016 UEFA European Championship final and the 2022 World Cup.
