Following his loan for the second part of the season, Ismaël Bennacer still has a chance to stay at Olympique in Marseille. The Marseille club wishes to renegotiate the amount of the purchase option deemed too high. And the midfielder's situation may well facilitate negotiations with AC Milan.

The weeks pass and Ismaël Bennacer is still not fixed. Following his loan to Olympique de Marseille in the second half of the season, the world of Milan AC completely ignores where he will evolve on the recovery. The vice-champion of France does not close the door to him, but on a well-known condition. This winter, the leaders of the two teams agreed on a purchase option at 12 million euros. An amount that the Marseillais consider too high.

OM in a strength position

It is true that Ismaël Bennacer did not necessarily reassure during his loan. His excellent beginnings had impressed. But the Algerian international could only play 12 Ligue 1 games because of his physical seeds. His time spent at the infirmary therefore put Olympique de Marseille against a dilemma. On the one hand, the management cannot afford to bet as much on a regularly unavailable player. But on the other, everyone was able to realize that Ismaël Bennace was perfectly stuck to the playing philosophy of coach Roberto de Zerbi.

The Paris Saint-Germain dolphin, quickly warned that a new loan was not possible, only sees only a solution which consists in negotiating a lower transfer to the price initially fixed. The discussions are not simple but they could be facilitated by the situation of the Rossonero. Indeed, journalist Nicolo Schira confirms that AC Milan no longer counts on Ismaël Bennacer. The Lombard club is currently looking for a solution to push it towards the exit. Good news for Olympique de Marseille knowing that the Italians will do nothing to prevent the departure of their spam under contract until 2027.
