This is a hell of a novelty in the stands of Ligue 1.. The Ministry of the Interior and the LFP signed a 35 -page agreement aimed at strengthening security around football matches in France. Among the new provisions, the obligation is the obligation, as of next season, for the groups of supporters to transmit upstream to the clubs the photos of their tifos, in order to control the content. The objective is to prevent the dissemination of messages of a political, ideological, religious or insulting nature, in accordance with the internal regulations now imposed at all stages.
While some groups of supporters, often in close connection with their club, already adopt this practice, others, more critical or in conflict with their management, could try to resist this measure. The agreement stipulates that clubs, with the support of the police if necessary, will be responsible for enforcing these regulations via checks, excavations and reinforced surveillance.
