Stade Rennais is preparing to turn an important page with the departure of Adrien Truffert for Bournemouth. Trained at SRFC, Captain Rennais joins the Premier League for 17 million euros, bonus included, and is committed for five years with the Cherries. A transfer that leaves a vacuum to fill in the left corridor of the SRFC.
To replace Truffert, Rennes already activates on several files. The first track leads to Gabriel Suazo, just free from Toulouse FC. The 27 -year -old Chilean side, an indisputable holder since his arrival in Ligue 1, played nearly 100 games with the Violets and seduced by his grinta and his regularity. His free player profile represents a great opportunity for Rennes, who seeks to limit expenses while securing experience reinforcement.
But that's not all: the Breton club also closely follows Archie Brown, an indisputable holder to the Gantoise in Belgium. The 23 -year -old English left, author of 46 games this season for 3 goals and 6 assists, has been supervised by several Ligue 1 clubs in recent months, including Lyon and Strasbourg. His ability to evolve as well Piston as in the left world makes him a versatile player, capable of bringing dynamism and depth to the Rennes game. Under contract until 2027, it was valued at around 10 million euros.
The transfer window is therefore animated for the SRFC, which does not want to waste time to secure its left flank. Between the experience of Suazo and the promising youth of Brown, Rennes has two serious options to turn the Truffert page. But hey, no one doubts that other avenues are currently being studied. Habib Beye would however favor a player experienced in Ligue 1 or capable of quickly adapting to his requirements.
