This evening 9 p.m. (Dazn), PSG faces Seattle Sounders to validate its qualification in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup. But the stake is twofold: qualification, of course, but also the city in which Paris will continue the competition.

Paris plays big against Seattle. Currently 2nd in the group, PSG must beat Seattle to ensure its place in eighths. But to finish first, Botafogo will also have to lose against Atlético de Madrid, in the other game of the group, played at the same time. If Botafogo wins or draws, Paris will remain second.

PSG could return to Paris

The final classification will have important consequences. According to the team, three scenarios are possible:

– If PSG finishes first, he will go to Atlanta to play his round of 16 on June 29 at 12 noon (local time), with a quarter -final scheduled for July 5 at the same time.
– If he finishes second, it will be Philadelphia, with an eighth on June 28 at noon and a possible quarter on July 4 at 9 p.m. (3 a.m. in France).
– If he finishes third, Paris will return directly to the house from June 23. An unlikely scenario, but made possible by defeat against Botafogo (1-0).

In summary: Paris must win to qualify, and hope for a defeat of Botafogo to avoid a difficult calendar. The rest of the adventure will therefore also depend on the result of the group's other match.
