This Friday, June 20, the 6th stage of Switzerland Tour offers a demanding course of 186.7 kilometers between Chur and Neuhausen Am Rheinfall. After the queen stage, the runners find a slightly less mountainous profile, but far from being flat: almost 2,400 meters of elevation are on the program, with in particular the ascents of Wildhaus (9 km at 6.8 %) and Hemberg (6.2 km at 5.7 %). Sprinteurs will no doubt see their last chance of victory on this edition, but the adventurers could take advantage of the relief to play their card. The arrival in false platforms rising to the red flame promises a tactical and nervous struggle in the last kilometers. Thibau Nys (Lidl-trek), Arnaud de Lie (Lotto), Vincenzo Albanese (EF Education-EasyPost), Jordi Meeus, Danny van Poppel (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe), Lewis Askey (Groupama-FDJ) … will be the men to follow.
