“We are going to be world champions …”
Without the major attractions of global cycling and with Julian Alaphilippe less flamboyant than a few years ago, although recently victorious on the GP from Quebec, Thomas Voeckler is lucid on his selection: “We do not legitimately have a leader who is sure to be there in a fight if all the other runners of the collective put themselves at his service. (Tadej) Pogacar is announced ultra-favori. I do not have a runner capable of following him when he will attack. On the other hand, I have a set of runners who must believe in a possibility.” Regarding the time trial, the former runner wants to be ambitious. The reason being the excellent 2025 season made by its best card.
