The former coach of FC Barcelona and Spain, Luis Enrique, recoveries a fracture of the shoulder following a bicycle accident.
His current club, Paris Saint-Germain, announced the incident on social networks.
The accident occurred on Friday and Luis Enrique was transported to the emergency room of the center. After diagnosing a clavicle fracture, the former Spain coach was prepared for surgery.
Luis Enrique's cycling obsession
Those who know Luis Enrique know that he spends a lot of time over a bicycle. The Asturian went to mountain biking and road cycling as a pastime after his player retirement, and he regularly performs long outings to disconnect during his free time.
He is famous for having announced the composition of the Spanish team while he was a national coach when he was by bicycle. He did it alongside the Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador, the former Celta Vigo player being closely linked to the rich cycling tradition in northern Spain.

Before the start of his press conference on Saturday, the Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente took the time to send a message to his predecessor.
“I want to kiss Luis Enrique and wish him a speedy recovery. I give him all my support ”said Fuente in Diario as from Turkey, while Roja was preparing for her second qualification match for the World Cup.
