Stade Rennais hit hard at the end of this summer transfer window.

It was to be the top floor of the rocket, the last phase of a Mercato already very lively … the Stade Rennais had clearly set the goal of strengthening its attack after improving the other game sectors earlier in the summer. The mission is accomplished.

To fill the departure to Nottingham Forest of his top scorer Arnaud Kalimuendo (17 goals in Ligue 1 last season), Rennes bet on two profiles: Esteban Lepaul, pure surface scorer recruited from Angers, and Breel Embolo, worker attacker who belonged to AS Monaco.
