In the last hours of the transfer window, the Congolese international is about to leave Brentford for Newcastle.

Yoane Wissa will indeed join Newcastle United at the end of the period of particularly agitated transfers. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Brentford FC agreed with his northeast counterpart of England for the transfer of the Congolese striker.

The operation should be concluded for an estimated amount of 63.5 million euros. The native of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges is now expected on the banks of the Tyne to pass the traditional medical examination.

Isak gives way

The recruitment of Wissa by the Geordies is part of a larger game of musical chairs. The departure of Alexander Isak from Newcastle to Liverpool, for an amount of around 150 million euros, should make it possible to finance the arrival of the leopard striker.

This is the second major major offensive recruit of Magpies this season. The latter had just completed the signature of Nick Woltemade for 90 million euros, bonus included, this Saturday.
