Led in the first half score, Barça managed to win on the thread at the end of the match against Levante.
FC Barcelona was moving on Levante's lawn this Saturday evening for the 2ᵉ day of Liga. Quickly, Hansi Flick's men were surprised by the promoted. On a transverse by Manu Sánchez to Jeremy Toljan, the latter gave a touch for Ivan Romero. The Spanish middle was playing out of Pau Cubarsi before beating Joan García with a precise shot which ended in the left net (1-0, 15ᵉ). In the additional time of the first period, José Luis Morales dubbed the bet for a strike of the right foot flat, which deceived the goalkeeper in the right side of the goal (2-0, 45+8ᵉ).
Pedri launches the revolt
Upon returning from the locker room, Barça returned with Pedri as an engine. Served by Lamine Yamal, the Spanish environment triggered a 25-meter strike that was lodged in the right skylight (2-1, 49ᵉ), launching the blaugranas revolt. A few minutes later, Ferran Torres equalized thanks to a flight of the right foot, following a corner drawn by Yamal (2-2, 52ᵉ).
The turning point of the match occurred in additional time. On a new center from the right flank signed Yamal, Unai Elgezabal, in the fight with Torres, saw his head lobed beating his goalkeeper and offer the advantage to the abutments (2-3, 90+1). The Spanish champion thus retains the head of the ranking. Levante, yet close to holding the Catalan ogre in check, remains in the red zone and occupies the relegation first.
