Guests of the entire Sport this Sunday on RMC, the Lebrun brothers returned to their Olympic adventure in Paris, a year later. But nothing has changed in the daily life of Félix and Alexis, faithful to themselves, despite enormous popularity.
A year after their bronze medal by teams with Simon Gauzy, the Lebrun brothers returned to their lives from the Paris Olympics. “The emotions are no longer intact but the memories yes. To be able to live it like that in such a hot team, to share it with everyone was really a crazy thing,” said Alexis Lebrun, guest with his little brother of the integral sport this Sunday on RMC.
A feeling shared by Félix, also an individual bronze medalist: “It always makes me happy to have been able to mark the minds of people during these games, it was a unique moment to live and we have exceptional memories. I hope who were able to provide just as beautiful emotions that were in the audience and in front of their TV”
“Our daily life remains the same with our family, our friends and the ping-pong”
After their signed exploits Porte de Versailles last summer, the popularity of the Lebrun brothers exploded. But not enough to shake up the daily life of the two Montpellier. “The gaze of people may have changed a little, but we have our lives have not changed,” said the cadet.
“We stay on what we were doing before, by training, having a fairly classic life by doing extraordinary things from time to time. It allowed us to live things that we could not have lived but our daily lives remain the same with our family, our friends and the ping-pong,” explained Félix Lebrun in the integral sport on RMC. “Félix has taken thighs! He has muscular but otherwise he has not changed, it remains the same with his qualities, his little flaws, we spend great moments,” said Alexis.
