After the filing of the Girondins continuation plan at the Commercial Court of Bordeaux, LOSC, Amiens and Guingamp had filed an appeal against the proposal to reimburse their claims before changing their mind. Ironically, they must now pay the club to the scapular.

On June 13, Gérard Lopez's men officially filed their continuation plan at the Bordeaux Commercial Court. The objective? Take the Girondins club out of its receivership procedure. This plan offers a sprawl of the very numerous FCGB debts, which have been divided into several classes and have been awarded various refund priorities.

Some of these receivables will not be reimbursed in full. This is particularly the case for transfers from Aliou Badji (3 Me in Amiens), Jérémy Livolant (500,000 euros in Guingamp) and Jean Onana (200,000 euros in LOSC), which Gérard Lopez plans to reimburse 10% over ten years. A proposal that did not at all pleased the concerned who have in the process filed an appeal before the Commercial Court. However, their express desisting will cost them money.

The Girondins will recover a little money

After having withdrawn their appeal, the Amiens, Guingamp and Lille clubs were sentenced by the commercial chamber of the Bordeaux Court of Appeal to a reimbursement of 5000 euros in total to the Girondins de Bordeaux. A conviction under article 700 of the Code of Civil Procedure, indicates Sud Ouest, which obliges the three clubs to pay to the Girondins de Bordeaux the legal costs. An irony that makes yellow laugh, because Gérard Lopez manages to crush a very large part of what he owes to these three entities and the latter are themselves condemned to reimburse him. Even if the amount is derisory, it is a shame.

For the Girondins de Bordeaux, the next crucial meeting will take place on June 24. The Commercial Court will render its decision concerning the validation or not of the continuation plan.
