
It was a third stage of Poland Tour chaotic … Indeed, a fall involved many runners like Rafal mother (UAE Emirates-XRG), Mathias Vacek (Lidl-Trek) or the leader of the race, the Frenchman Paul Lapeira (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale). However, the latter was able to finish the stage quite far (even if it has no consequences since the times were frozen) more than eight minutes from the winner of the day, Legs (Ineos grenadiers). French training Dominique Serieys expressed himself on the state of health of the former French champion in their post-race statement.

A reassuring assessment for the former French champion
Violently out of the road in a descent with in particular Mathias Vacekwho abandoned, and Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious), the French seemed quite affected. His team, Decathlon Ag2r La Mondialeexpressed himself and gave news concerning the leader of the race: “Paul Lapeira was the victim of a heavy fall in the last part of the 3ᵉ stage of the Tour de Poland. He was able to finish the stage, however. He suffers from multiple dermabrasions and 2 cracked ribs. Following the fall, the times in the general classification were frozen. Paul therefore keeps the leader jersey and will be well at the start of the fourth stage tomorrow”concludes French training in their post-race press release.
