Reinier Jesus, a forgotten player of Real Madrid, would have reached an agreement to join Atlético Mineiro, Brazilian club, for free.
According to ESPN, Reinier will sign a four and a half year contract with the Brazilian club until 2030, his contract with Real having to be terminated soon. The attacking midfielder joined the Merengues in 2020 from Flamengo, but has never played as a first team.

A flop leaves real
The former Brazilian international under 23 has been loaned to Borussia Dortmund, Girona, Frosinone and Granada in recent seasons, but he is now returning to South America after an unsuccessful passage to Santiago Bernabéu. The media adds that Real Madrid will include a resale clause of 50 % in order to make a player profitable who would have cost him 30 million euros (26 million pounds sterling) more than five years ago.
A four and a half year contract
Reinier was part of the Brazilian team under 23 who won gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, organized a year later due to the coronavirus pandemic. He also won the 2021 German Cup with Dortmund.
The 1.85 m player, who played three games with the Real Madrid team B during the 2019-2020 season, is expected to be presented this week as a player at Atlético Mineiro. He could even make his debut against his old club, Flamengo, Wednesday, or, failing that, on the field of Vasco Da Gama next Sunday.
