The peloton left Brittany from Gacilly, Morbihan, to join Angers, Maine-et-Loire. The sprinters were expected on the arrival of a stage, 163.5 km, flat like a sea of oil.
It was the Dutchman Lorena Wiebes, favorite after the abandonment Sunday of her compatriot Charlotte Kool, winner of two stages in 2024, who won this 3rd stage Monday July 28, 2025 in Angers by winning the sprint in front of her compatriot Marianne Vos, who took over the general classification.
The end of the stage was marked by the heavy fall 3,700 meters from the Dutchman Demi Vollering's finish line, which took a long time to get up, but was classified at the same time as the first competitors, the fall having occurred in the “sprint zone” of the last five kilometers.
