The Manchester United coach has recently returned to the transfer window produced by the English club since the opening of this summer window of transfers.
This summer, Manchester United clearly displayed its ambition to strengthen its offensive sector by finalizing two major recruitments: Matheus Cunha, from Wolverhampton for 74 million euros, and Bryan Mbeumo, arrived from Brentford against 81 million euros.
At the same time, the Mancunian club completed the arrival of Diego León. The young left side Paraguayan joined the Red Devils from Cerro Porteño for 4 million euros.
“We are clearly a better team”
These reinforcements particularly delight Ruben Amorim, the Red Devils coach. During a press conference, the Portuguese technician expressed his enthusiasm at the idea of counting on two players already running at the Premier League, while being confident concerning the adaptation of the South American defender, who has no experience in Europe.
“These two players have already proven in the Premier League. Cunha can play several positions, so it's easier to adjust the eleven. With Bryan, Matheus and even Diego Leon, even if his situation is different, we are clearly a better team ”he said.
