FC Nantes saw a transfer window marked by important departures.

Arrived a few weeks ago to succeed Antoine Kombouaré, Luis Castro will indeed be the coach of the recent era of the FC Nantes.

In recent years, Nantes had bet on a certain stability in its workforce to ensure its maintenance in Ligue 1. But the club plans to take a new turn focused on youth and a more offensive style of play.

A turning point that is not without consequences on the transfer market. Important departures have already been recorded in all lines. And this strategy should continue until the end of the transfer window.

A completely reworked defense

The case of central defense may be the most significant. After the departure of the historic and emblematic Nicolas Pallois, it is the other holder of the recent years, Jean-Charles Castelteto, who has packed.

The Cameroonian international signed up with the Qatari club Al-Duhail a few days ago. A notable transfer which called an almost immune arrival since the powerful Nigerian Chidozie Awaziem returned to FC Nantes in stride. The next few weeks promise to behind the scenes.
