Last straight line in this 112nd edition of the Tour de France. The peloton runners will start from Nantua (Ain), Saturday July 26, for the 20th and penultimate stage of the big loop. After 184.2 km of an uneven course comprising four difficulties, it is a punker who should raise his arms on arrival, in Pontarlier (Doubs).
With the abandonment of Mathieu van der Poel Tuesday July 22, Wout Van Aert (Visma-Lease A Bike) has the profile of a victorious potential. The Frenchman Kévin Vauquelin (Arkea-B & B Hotels) will also be looking for his first success in this edition but Julian Alaphillipe (Tudor Pro Cycling) could also get out of the game after a lasting day in the mountains on the Plagne side on Friday.
