Thymen Arensman wins during the last stage in the Alps

Baked at boredom and bad weather. This was the promise, Friday, July 25, during the last passage of the Grande Boucle in the Alps. Despite the rain, the mountain atmosphere was once again boiling in La Plagne (Savoie). It was the last step reserved for climbers of this 112nd edition.

Because of a contagious hearth that affects cattle in Savoy, the stage was shortened: only 93 kilometers of planned. It was one of the last chances of seeing runners, just two days before Paris.
