This Tuesday, June 17, the 3rd stage of Switzerland Tour was once again demanding and very open between Aarau and Heiden (195.8 km). With nearly 3,000 meters of elevation, the route was cut for the Putnanchers, especially in a trashy and hilly final comprising The Knolhusen (5.2 km at 6.2 %) at 20 km before a last climb of 3.4 km at 5.3 % to the finish line. Last survivor of the morning escape, Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek) did the show on the heights of Lac de Constance, first disgusting his flight companions 20 terminals from the goal and then a peloton returned to 15 seconds for a while but which finally stumbled in the last kilometers on the American, impressive. A capital performance for the very recent champion of United States, which confirms its excellent form after its 4th place, already, the day before. The peloton has not managed to organize enough to take it back and fail at 18 seconds, set to the sprint per João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates-XRG).

Romain Grégoire and Kévin Vauquelin in the Top 5 and always at the head of the general
